Subjects
Religious Education
We strive to teach our learners the Catholic Faith and bible teachings. RE is not only concerned with intellectual knowledge but also includes emotional and affective learning. English
We focus on developing each and every child to his/her full potential. We offer English as a Home Language as English is our language of teaching. The skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking are very carefully taught in an integrated approach, with emphasis being placed on allowing each child’s creativity to flourish.
Mathematics
We strive to equip our learners with the knowledge and skills to cope with Mathematics at every grade. We make use of the Green Shoots Mathematics programme whereby our learners make use of our computer lab to do Maths lessons and tests online
Afrikaans
We offer Afrikaans as a First Additional language. We focus on equipping our learners with listening, speaking, and reading and writing skills that are used in everyday social situations.
Life Skills/ Life Orientation
In a Life Skills/Life Orientation classroom, functional, adaptive and social skills are incorporated into the curriculum. Equip students with essential life skills for personal development and success through our comprehensive Life Skills program.
Creative Arts
The purpose of this subject is to help learners develop their imaginations and creativity, as well as allowing them to try new things that they may not have to change to explore otherwise.
Economics and Management Sciences
Deals with the efficient and effective use of different types of private, public or collective resources to satisfy people’s needs and wants.
Social Science
Social Science teaches learners about the world around them and consist of History and Geography. We aim at equipping our learners with the knowledge, skills and values necessary for self-fulfillment, and meaningful participation in society as citizens of a free country.
Natural Science and Technology:
Includes the strands of Life and Living, Mater and Materials, Energy and Change and the Earth beyond.
